Rockstar revealed GTA 6's editions and prices on June 24, 2026, and pre-orders opened at midnight local time on June 25. Confirmed Alongside them came the official cover art and a refreshed story synopsis.
Two editions only
- Standard Edition: $79.99 in the US, £69.99 in the UK.
- Ultimate Edition: $99.99 in the US, £89.99 in the UK, adding premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and extra side content that unlock as you progress through the story.
You can upgrade from Standard to Ultimate at any time for the $20 difference, so there's no penalty for starting with the cheaper version.
Pre-order bonuses
Every purchase made before November 20, 2026 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack. Digital pre-orders also include a free month of GTA+, Rockstar's subscription, which currently applies to GTA Online on GTA V. Confirmed
No disc in the box
Physical copies contain a download code for the Standard Edition rather than a disc, so you'll still need to download the game. Digital pre-loading opens on November 12, a week before launch.
