The GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek now says it will release the entire game, story and ending included, if its cryptocurrency memecoin reaches a $30 million market cap. Rumor / leak The threat appeared on October 10, two days after a 25-minute "Extended Leek" video spread online, and it's the most direct challenge to Rockstar yet with less than six weeks until launch.
There's still no proof that CyberLeek has a complete, playable build. Here's what the notice says, what we know and don't know, and how to protect yourself from spoilers and scams.
What CyberLeek is threatening
According to a notice posted on the leaker's website and reported by Kotaku, CyberLeek says it will publish a GTA 6 build containing "full story mode, played to the end, credits and all" once its memecoin hits a $30 million market cap. Rumor / leak
- The trigger: a $30 million market cap for the leaker's memecoin.
- Take-Two's "way out": produce physical discs of GTA 6 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and issue a public apology.
- Spoilers as proof: Dexerto, citing creator LegacyKillaHD, reports the leaker also warned it could post major story spoilers to prove it has the full game.
- "On request": the notice says CyberLeek will provide other content on request.
The disc demand ties back to CyberLeek's original complaint. GTA 6's physical box contains a download code rather than a disc, which is exactly what its August manifesto attacked. What Rockstar and Take-Two have said about a disc version.
Does CyberLeek really have the whole game?
Nobody outside the leaker knows. Rumor / leak What we can say:
- The August clips came from a development build from around 2025, according to reporting at the time, and showed only Jason in the early game.
- The October 8 "Extended Leek" was longer and looked more complete. Kotaku says it recreated gameplay from the August Netflix reveal and showed scenes that appear to use a debug mode, which suggests the leaker can run a working build.
- Not everything matches the previews. After claims online that press had seen the same nude scenes, IGN's Rachel Weber said the July preview she attended didn't show what the leak shows, because the camera angle cut away. So the leaked build isn't necessarily the game Rockstar showed press.
- A build that plays "to the end" would be a much bigger claim than anything shown so far. No outlet has verified it.
Follow the money
CyberLeek presents its leaks as a protest against all-digital licences and paid content. Its behaviour around money tells a different story:
- In late August the account withdrew about $250,000 worth of its own memecoin, which crashed the price. Kotaku calls the new threat a possible "round two of the rug pull".
- Protos reported the token's market cap jumping again after the leaker returned this week.
- On October 8, CyberLeek also asked for public funding for what it called a separate "gaming related" project, Gameranx reports.
Our read: a market-cap target gives people a reason to buy the token, whether or not a full build ever appears. Don't buy it, don't connect a crypto wallet to anything linked to it, and don't download files claiming to be the leaked game. Fake "full build" downloads are an easy way to spread malware. How to spot fake GTA 6 downloads.
What Rockstar and Take-Two have done
There's no statement on the new threat. In August, Rockstar called the leaks "heartbreaking" and asked fans to wait for the real game. Confirmed Take-Two has since used legal subpoenas, including to Discord and Microsoft, to try to identify the people behind the leaks. Confirmed There has been no public update on what those subpoenas turned up.
Separately, the hacker behind the 2022 GTA 6 leak goes on trial in London on November 9. There's no known link between the two cases. Read about the Kurtaj trial.
Does this change anything about launch?
No. GTA 6 still launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-loading from November 12. Confirmed Rockstar kept every date after the August leaks. What it does change is how careful you need to be online if you want to go in unspoiled.
How to avoid GTA 6 spoilers now
- Mute these words on X, Reddit, TikTok and YouTube: CyberLeek, Extended Leek, GTA 6 leak, GTA 6 ending, GTA 6 spoilers.
- Turn off autoplay previews on YouTube and TikTok for a few weeks.
- Leave Discord servers and group chats that share leak links.
- Be wary of thumbnails that promise "ending leaked" or "full story". They're often fake, and the real ones are spoilers.
Questions people are asking
Is CyberLeek going to leak all of GTA 6?
CyberLeek says it will release a full GTA 6 build, with "full story mode, played to the end, credits and all", if its memecoin reaches a $30 million market cap. Nobody has verified that it has a complete build, and Rockstar hasn't commented.
What does CyberLeek want from Take-Two?
Its notice says Take-Two's only way out is to produce physical discs of GTA 6 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and to issue a public apology. Today's physical copies contain a download code, not a disc.
Is the GTA 6 ending going to leak?
It might. CyberLeek has threatened to post major story spoilers to prove it has a complete build. Mute keywords like CyberLeek, GTA 6 ending and Extended Leek until you've finished the game.
Should I buy the CyberLeek memecoin?
We strongly advise against it. The account withdrew about $250,000 worth of the coin in August, which crashed its price, and Kotaku describes the new threat as a possible second "rug pull".
Will the leak delay GTA 6?
No. Rockstar kept the November 19, 2026 release date after every leak so far, and nothing suggests this changes it.
