CyberLeek is back with a 25-minute GTA 6 leak. Here's what it reportedly shows

A roughly 25-minute video of GTA 6 gameplay and cutscenes surfaced on October 8, credited to CyberLeek, the leaker behind the August clips. Rumor / leak The file is reportedly called "Extended Leek", a dig at Rockstar's official 26-minute Extended Look on Netflix.

It landed on the day CyberLeek's mystery poll was due to close, which suggests the poll was a countdown.

What's in the video, according to reports

We haven't watched the footage. This is what outlets and people who have seen it describe. Rumor / leak

• Length and size: about 25 minutes, in a zip file of around 367 MB.
• Jason, not Lucia: most of the footage follows Jason. Lucia appears only briefly.
• Racing: a dirt bike race in a scripted mission, plus an event at a place called the "Thrillbilly Mud Club".
• Cars: tuning an engine and upgrading a car at a garage, and driving with nitrous.
• First-person driving: several reports say parts are played in first person.
• Places: a trailer store, a bridge, a waterfall and a beachside coffee shop where Jason talks to other characters.
• A spoof car advert, in the style of GTA's radio and TV parodies.
• Nudity: some scenes reportedly show Jason undressed. That fits what we already knew: GTA 6's age ratings list nudity and sexual content.

Accounts of spoilers don't agree. Some outlets say the cutscenes give away story details. Leak tracker TexFunz2, who first reported the file size, said it contains no story details.

Is it real?

Nobody has independently verified it, and Rockstar hasn't commented. Rumor / leak Three things are unclear:

• Who posted it. Dexerto and GameSpot both say it isn't clear whether the person behind August's leaks is behind this one.
• How old it is. The August clips came from a development build from around 2025. Some viewers say this footage looks more recent, and one theory is that it overlaps with press material from IGN's Rob Nelson interview on October 7. That's unconfirmed.
• Where it first appeared. GameSpot says it was first flagged on a CyberLeek subreddit, where the original poster couldn't download it. Copies then spread on X.

Does this mean GTA 6 has first-person mode?

Not necessarily. Rockstar has never confirmed a first-person mode for GTA 6, and creators at the August previews said it wouldn't be in the game at launch. Preview report First-person footage could come from a debug camera, an unfinished option or a later addition. GTA V only got first-person in its 2014 re-release. More in our GTA 6 FAQ.

What Rockstar and Take-Two have done so far

There's no statement on this video yet. In August, Rockstar called the leaks "heartbreaking" and said the game was nearly finished. Confirmed Take-Two has since served subpoenas on major platforms to try to identify the leaker. Confirmed Expect copies of the new video to be taken down quickly, as before.

Our read

This doesn't change anything about launch. GTA 6 is still out on November 19, and Rockstar kept every date after the August leaks too. What it changes is how careful you need to be online for the next six weeks.

If you want to stay unspoiled, mute "CyberLeek", "Extended Leek", "GTA 6 leak" and "Thrillbilly" now. Don't download zip files claiming to be the leak, and don't pay or connect a crypto wallet to anything linked to it. Fake "leak" downloads are an easy way to spread malware.
