Every GTA 6 activity confirmed so far

GTA 6 looks packed with things to do outside the story. This list combines three sources: Rockstar's own trailers and screenshots, the 26-minute Extended Look that premiered on Netflix on August 27, and Game Informer's cover story from September 29. We update it every time something new is revealed.

How we label these: activities visible in Rockstar's own footage or screenshots are marked Confirmed. Activities described by journalists who saw the game, or reported from the paywalled Game Informer feature, are marked Preview report until Rockstar shows them itself.

New from Game Informer

The September 29 cover story listed base jumping, billiards, gyms, kayaking, mini golf, scuba diving, street and off-road racing, zoos, airboats and jet skis. Preview report Most of those were already visible in the Extended Look. Mini golf and the zoo were the notable additions, both first mentioned in August previews and now reported again from Rockstar's interviews.

Coverage of the feature also suggests some activities double as dates between Jason and Lucia, such as hiking. Preview report That fits what previews said in August: the relationship is shaped by the player, and it isn't the centre of the game unless you want it to be.

The outdoors: wildlife, water and weather

Leonida's nature is a big part of the pitch. Game Informer reports more than 170 animal species, including over 60 kinds of birds and more than 30 land mammals, with manatees, flamingos, pelicans and alligators named. Preview report Previews in August mentioned a wildlife checklist, and Mount Kalaga National Park in the north is set up for hunting and exploring.

Water activities should matter more than in any past GTA, with the Leonida Keys, the Grassrivers swamps and the coast all built for boats, jet skis and diving. Weather will change the mood too: Leonida can get tropical storms and hurricanes.

Some lists online include activities Rockstar hasn't shown. Treat these as wishes, not features, until they appear in official material:

  • Tennis, full golf and bowling, all in past GTA games. Rumor / leak
  • Kickboxing and cage fighting, mentioned by some outlets but not clearly shown in Rockstar footage. Rumor / leak
  • Property and business ownership, which Rockstar hasn't discussed. Rumor / leak
  • Arcade games, strip clubs and cinemas, which series fans expect but Rockstar hasn't detailed. Rumor / leak
